Why It Matters
Research has found that sharing painful experiences for as little as two minutes has been helpful for kids who have been through significant adversity.
Whether it be through this activity, writing, talking, using art, or other forms of expression — giving kids the opportunity to express themselves creates a healthy bio-social environment and promotes regulation.
